Rainy Night in Georgia is a song written by Tony Joe White in 1967 and popularized by R&B vocalist Brook Benton in 1970. It was originally released by White on his 1969 album, Continued, on Monument Records, shortly before Benton's hit single was issued. Benton recorded the song in November 1969 with arranger/producer Arif Mardin at Criteria Studios in Miami, Florida. Benton had signed to a new record label, Cotillion Records (a subsidiary of Atlantic Records), by label A&R chief and producer Jerry Wexler. The RIAA certified the single gold for sales of one million copies. In 2004, it was ranked #498 on the List of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
This track features Cornell Dupree's guitar parts that are a masterclass on using double stops in Soul music, plus plenty of hammer on/pull off fills throughout.
This is a transcription of those guitar parts.

Composed by Pat Martino. Arranged by edited by Dr. LeRoy Henry. 20th Century,Blues,Classical,Historic,Jazz. Guitar Tab. 6 pages. Dr. LeRoy Henry #951120. Published by Dr. LeRoy Henry (A0.1366778).

Think Tank is an album by jazz guitarist Pat Martino. It was recorded in January 2003 at Sony Studios in New York City, and was released by Blue Note Records later that year. On the album, Martino is joined by saxophonist Joe Lovano, pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba, bassist Christian McBride, and drummer Lewis Nash.
Think Tank received a 2003 Grammy nomination for Best Jazz Instrumental Album, and Africa was nominated for Best Jazz Instrumental Solo.
Think Tank , as the name suggests, finds Martino at his most cerebral, which has its pros and cons. The title track, for example, is a blues of sorts built on an equation based on the letters of John Coltrane's name, which may sound like an exercise for a composition class, but manages to hold together pretty well organically. Coltrane, a Philadelphia mentor of Martino's, is a recurring reference on the album, both indirectly in Martino's intensely spiritual and intellectual approach to the music, and directly on the funk-based original Phineas Trane as well as on an extended romp through Coltrane's Africa.
