A fun guitar solo (TAB plus standard notation) for an intermediate to advanced fingerstyle guitarist, for enjoyment and performances. Composed by Bradley Powell on August 27, 2003, 2:51 AM PST, in the very moment Earth and Mars were the closest in 57,000 years. Brad has recorded many CDs as The Candlelight Guitarist. In The Moment is on his CD Soul Mates & Kindred Spirits. It's a minor-key, ethereal, impressionistic piece, slightly off-kilter in the tradition of The Sorcerer's Apprentice by Dukas and The Planets by Holst, incorporating some Spanish-flamenco guitar stylings as well.
