Robert Schumann composed Album für die Jungend (Album for the Young), Opus 68, in 1848. The album was intended for young pianists, however, in the second part of the album, beginning with No. 19, Kleine Romanze (Little Romance), the songs become more difficult. This arrangement for solo classical guitar in A minor is also a bit challenging, with harmonics, bar chords and an upper register melody that promotes playing up and down the fretboard.
