Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1316635 Composed by Timothy D McCallum. 21st Century,Classical,Instructional,New Age,Spiritual. Guitar Tab. 2 pages. Timothy D McCallum #905354. Published by Timothy D McCallum (A0.1316635). This is the sheet music and tabs of my original fingerstyle guitar / classical guitar piece. It's in the key of D major and uses a lot of slides, so I call it D Major Slides. It makes for a good practice piece to help with performing slides.Ā I make YouTube music videos of my original fingerstyle guitar / classical guitar pieces and arrangements.Ā I am currently on disability because I have been having seizures and I see myself composing and performing fingerstyle guitar / classical guitar pieces to help with healing process for me and everyone else and to provide the means for me to continue to create and share the music that comes from within.

Easy Guitar (with TAB) - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1370027 Composed by Brian Streckfus. Instructional,Singer/Songwriter. Tablature. 6 pages. Brian Streckfus #954402. Published by Brian Streckfus (A0.1370027). I created this to make learning the most common chords on guitar easier. Learning chords on guitar is quite difficult; fret numbers are quite arbitary to what the chord is. There are patterns to follow, but they are buried in a convoluted foggy swamp. The tuning of guitar strings essentially puts the music theory in a blender and one has to study for a long time to decode it. It is my hope that this PDF will shine some light on how chords are built, and why some of them have a lot of clarity in how they are working, and why others seem completely random. This PDF shows chords that commonly happen in pop music, so it is by no means an exhaustive list.Ā For knowing howĀ to use chords, see my chord progression generator uploads.Tips:1. There is redundacy for a reason; this pdf shows multiple ways of playing the same chord.2. The first two pages are for the music theory purists in that there is hardly ever an uneccesary note to mantain the name of the chord. This is useful for understanding what notes are needed for a chord (it's a cliche for guitarists to have overly large chords).3. Pages 3 and 4 are the famous voicings.Ā 4. Pages 5 and 6 are the bar chord versions. These versions are physically harder to play, but they can add a lot of clarity and simplicity to your playing (the famous voicings on pages 3 and 4 are seemingly random). They are much easier to slide to any key you want and much easier to see similiarities and patterns between chords.

Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1136061 Composed by Brian Streckfus. Instructional,Jewish,Multicultural,Religious,Sacred,World. Guitar Tab. 1 pages. Brian Streckfus #736086. Published by Brian Streckfus (A0.1136061). If someone is yawning saying, I'm sick and tired of playing music in the key of C Major, I want to use a scale hardly anyone uses. Then this piece is for you.1. Guitar Arrangement2. Guitar Tab3. Less stereotypical chordsĀ 4. Fingerings and letter names added to aid in sight-readingĀ 5. Voice leading considerationsThe Scale I used is: D Eb F# G A Bb D. The name of it would be something bizarre. These names include: Jewish, harmonic major, or a mode of G harmonic minor. If I included a C#, it would be a symmetrical scale that can't be retrograded, adding to the mathematical mystique. An exotic sounding atmosphere was what I was going for.Tips:1. Since it is exotic, microtonal pre-bends seem appropriate to make it even more exotic sounding. That is what the upwards pointing swoosh means. Perhaps the sound of a sitar was what I was going for.2. Slides also make it sound more exotic.3. Exotic music uses drone tones more often than American music. Therefor, droning a low D made sense.4. The naming of chords would be quite difficult since it is more of an alien music language than a western one. I just left them out this time. Names would happen such as Dadd4(b9)omit3. Pretty alien chords if you ask me, and you can see that the western chord nomenclature is struggling to name it elegantly. Anytime chords are build in 4th and 5ths rather than 3rds, usually the name that results is quite complex.5. I added unisons because it makes it sound more mysterious in my opinion.
