Jazz Ensemble Jazz Ensemble - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1360974 By Aerosmith. By Joe Perry and Steven Tyler. Arranged by Brian Rhodes. Blues,Jazz,Rock,Video Game. 70 pages. Brian E Rhodes #945468. Published by Brian E Rhodes (A0.1360974). Ok - this one is just plain fun. Originally released on Aerosmith's Toys in the Attic and later remade adding Run DMC, Walk This Way is a bonafide rock and roll classic. This arrangement is to be played with all the Aerosmith swagger possible with a big band. Solo section is open with changes in AS1, TS1, Tpt2 & Tbn1. Obviously, a screamin' guitar solo would be totally appropriate. The key signature is neutral, with accidentals placed as needed. This chart will give any jazz band concert some serious attitude!

Jazz Ensemble Jazz Ensemble - Digital Download SKU: A0.947277 Composed by John Philips. Jazz. Score and parts. 16 pages. John Philips Music Service #3867667. Published by John Philips Music Service (A0.947277). Based on the 12 bars blues format, this charts just rolls along with some solos available. The title is derived fromthe initials for Western Illinois University------WIU------If you pronounce the initials it come out as WHY YOU-----that's what it's called by many----add Blues to this and you have WHY YOU BLUES-for no reasonIf you want a Maynard or Buddy chart, look elsewhere. This series of charts uses nothing more complicated than eighth notes, are not frantic or screamers, extreme ranges and are hemi-demi-semi-quaver free. They depend on intonation and the players being not intimidated by what he is asked to play. There is no contest to see how high you can go before you need oxygen , how many notes you can play in 9 seconds or before your bell overheats , or how long it takes the audience to cover their earsRelaxed and confident players always play more in tune. Good harmonies, lines and realistic rhythm patterns will produce a good result that will swing and be enjoyed by player and listener alike.
