“Let It Snow!†Let It Snow! Let It Snow!†was written by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne in July 1945 in Hollywood, California, during a heat wave. The song was first recorded by Vaughn Monroe in the fall of 1945, released shortly after Thanksgiving, and became an international hit at Christmas.
The song was arranged for the Ukulele and notated in classical musical notation and tablature.
