Choral Choir (Unison) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.964549 Composed by Nancy DeVries. Christian,Easter,Sacred. Octavo. 4 pages. Nancy DeVries #6191123. Published by Nancy DeVries (A0.964549). Chaplet of the Holy Face is a musical setting of the text of a Catholic devotion known by the same title.  Based on Psalm 68:1, Arise, O Lord and let Thy enemies be scattered, six invocations of this Psalm verse is alternated with the Gloria Patri five times, and concludes with the Psalm verse sung three times, in honor of the 3 year public life of Jesus Christ. The text is sung in reparation for sins that most offend God, the disfiguring facial wounds which Jesus received during His sacred Passion, and to repel and defeat God's enemies. Devotees of the Holy Face Devotion will especially appreciate this powerful work.  This versatile piece may be performed in a number of ways; with a solo voice throughout, a soloist or cantor and group of singers, or for choral singing. The accompaniment will work equally well played on piano or organ, or it could even be sung unaccompanied. It would also be effective sung by a treble or youth choir alternating verses with an adult choir. Suitable for public performance or personal devotional use.  This work may be sung by a individual or a group, or may be sung by a cantor alternating with a group. It is suitable for personal or liturgical use.

Published by Chorister's Guild - Digital (C7.CGA219). UPC: 749193017708.This beautiful Chinese folk melody has been skillfully wedded to a text by Jody Lindh. The theme of the anthem, a prayer for personal growth, is in a sense a response to the phrase form the catechism 'What is our chief purpose' To glorify God and enjoy God forever.' What a fine anthem for choir dedication Sunday to express the commitment expected of every chorister, and their response. The accompaniment is written for organ and flute, with footnotes to explain how the flute part can be adapted if organ alone is used. It can be played on the piano without many adjustments.

Cathy Stamegna #4715619. Published by Cathy Stamegna (A0.780294). We’re Goin’ Home For Christmas Without You! (Unison -or- 2-Part Choir, Piano Accompaniment). Also known as We’re Leavin’’ for Vacation Without You! This piece was originally composed as a faculty number for Unison or 2-Parts, with suggested lyrics for students to perform as well.  Presented by the composer at Elementary through Middle School concerts, it has always been a winner with its ‘tongue-in-cheek’ attitude.  When you’re looking forward to personal time away from the classroom, sing about it:  We’re gonna pack up our books, skip all the homework, We’re goin’ home for Christmas without you! -or- …We’re leavin’ for vacation without you! Composer’s Comments and Performance Suggestions included.
