Arranged by James Shrader ASCAP. The tune Aberystwyth (Joseph Parry 1879) and the traditional text by John Bowring (1825) are set for antiphonal unison choirs accompanied by vibraphone, bass, and an incidental oboe solo. This is a wonderful piece for epiphany and can be performed by children or adults. The bass line is a rollicking ostinato possibly portraying a camel caravan crossing the desert. This piece is also available with keyboard accompaniment.

Reflecting on the wonders of God's creation, this setting of the Native American hymn, Many and Great, O God, spotlights the spirit of dignity and sincerity found in the hymn's text written by Joseph Renville, paraphrased by Philip Frazier. Between the hymn's two stanzas, a chanted prayer of thanksgiving provides a unique B section offering the opportunity for an introduction to part singing. Here, a new melody contained in open fifths, can be sung in unison, two or three part. Children's choirs will especially enjoy the hymn study related to the piece which can be found on the Choristers Guild website.
