Choral Choir (Unison) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.763271 Composed by Nigel Williams. Concert,Sacred. Octavo. 8 pages. Nigel Williams #3578495. Published by Nigel Williams (A0.763271). The Missa Brevis was commissioned by Thomas Wilson, St Mary's Catholic Cathedral, Sydney NSW Australia in 2010 specifically for a group of Senior High School age teenage boy choristers. The musical style is melodic and strongly modal, and the organ accompaniment is independent throughout. The score contains all three movements, Kyrie, Sanctus - Benedictus, Agnus Dei and runs to eight pages. The vocal range (notated in the bass clef) is comfortable for teenage baritone voices and the difficulty level is intermediate. While specifically written for the Catholic Mass it will suit certain Episcopal liturgies and will make a great concert recital piece.

Unison chorus - Digital Download SKU: C7.CGA159 Composed by Robert J. Powell. Lent. With Organ, Flute. Sacred Anthem. Octavo. 8 pages. Chorister's Guild - Digital #CGA159. Published by Chorister's Guild - Digital (C7.CGA159). UPC: 749193001240.This work for Youth choir is written in a rondo form: a rhythmically strong section alternating with contrasting, flowing sections - well-suited to the interpretation of the text. The use of bongo drums and guitar will add greatly to the rhythmic strength of the music. While it is written for four part mixed voices (with optional notes for larger groups), the anthem could also easily adapt to a two-part anthem with some improvised revision to fit treble male voices. Composer: Allen Pote.

Here is the latest musical for young voices from Tom Long and Allen Pote. This amusing 45-minute attempt to present the Old Testament begins with a promise to cover the entire history in ten minutes. Needless to say, they don't get all the way through - even after revising their estimate to twenty, then thirty, then forty minutes - but there's plenty of humor and moving moments as the kids encounter the lessons and eternal truths found within the stories of Adam & Eve, Noah, Moses, David and many more. Entertaining moments and meaningful content are thoughtfully balanced. Set and costume requirements are minimal, and the mostly unison vocal lines are accessible for most children's and youth choirs. Choral Choir (Unison) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.966252 Composed by Hildegard Von Bingen. Arranged by Zoltan Paulinyi. Classical. Octavo. 60 pages. Zoltan Paulinyi #6327455. Published by Zoltan Paulinyi (A0.966252). This books publishes the original Latin text translated into English, French and Portuguese with some performing instructions added by the translator. It includes the facsimile of the full score manuscript. This new edition is revised by the Schola Cantorum of Brasilia. The Order of the Virtues, opera written in the 12nd century, transcends music by bringing together literature, philosophy, theology and spirituality in a single art piece. Dr Zoltan Paulinyi presents his translations next to the Latin text to maintain the words’ correspondence to bring the reader closer to the author's original message and facilitate musical and theatrical production. The Order of the Virtues remains one of the most engaging philosophical themes of the last millennium. Saint Hildegard elegantly presented the questioning through this sublime and solemn opera, inspiring hundreds of intellectuals after her, like Saint Thomas Aquinas, to seek more complete answers.
