Digital Download SKU: A0.878581 By Anonymous 4. By Anonymous. Bodleian Library MS Eng. Poet. e. I. f. f. 79v and and text from Yale University ms 365 (The Book of Brome). Arranged by Susan Hellauer. Christmas,Early Music,Medieval,Sacred. 4 pages. Susan Hellauer #3000119. Published by Susan Hellauer (A0.878581). Fifteenth-century unison carol in late Middle English and Latin, with music from the Bodleian Library MS Eng. Poet. e. I. f., and text from Yale University, ms 365   (The Book of Brome), f. 79v. This monophonic song recounts the Annunciation   dialogue between a humble yet wise young Mary and the Angel Gabriel. Performance: the burden is sung with full choir at the beginning and end of the   carol, as well as between the verses, which are, ideally, sung by a soloist. However, solo performance throughout, or small choir vs. large choir are also possible.  In Anonymous 4‘s performance, we perform the burden only  after every few verses.  These carols would have served a paraliturgical function, possibly accompanying  processions. May be sung in any suitable key.

Choral Choir (Unison) - Digital Download SKU: A0.973049 Composed by Francis Kayali. Children,Concert,Contemporary. Octavo. 7 pages. Francis Kayali #6252909. Published by Francis Kayali (A0.973049). A collection of five canons for children or amateur adult choir: 1.   Afternoon on a Hill  (Edna St. Vincent Millay)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiUMt21kgv8 2.   Le corbeau (lyrics by the composer)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLnJ03uyqZQ 3.   Once, a Dinosaur Jumped in my Bath (lyrics by the composer) 4.   Le rêve  (Émile Zola)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbL3bUhClLk5.   Come Play (lyrics by the composer)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8W_U662MB6cThe five canons are contrasting in mood, from the juvenile Dinosaur, to the upbeat Come play, to the serious and idealistic statement of Le rêve, to the sinister Le corbeau, to the peacefully contented Afternoon on a Hill. Owing to their intended audience, all of these canons are at the unison/octave. Three of them (2, 3, and 5) are two-part echo-canons, where the imitative voices begins very soon after the first one (two beats later in each case here). The other two canons, based on pre-existing texts, adopt the more common structure of following a chord progression that proceeds over several measures (albeit an irregular, 7-measure, elided phrase in Le Rêve).

Choral Choir (Unison) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1241295 Composed by Todd Marchand. Christian,Holiday,Patriotic,Sacred. Octavo. 4 pages. Con Spirito Music #836674. Published by Con Spirito Music (A0.1241295). Lord, Hear Us for Our Native Land (also known by its incipit, Lord while for all mankind we pray) was written by the Rev. John Reynell Wreford (1800-1881), an English Unitarian minister, in honor of the accession of Britain’s Queen Victoria to the throne in 1837. It was published that same year in his Lays of Loyalty, a collection of poetry commemorating both the passing of King William the Fourth and the accession of the then-18-year-old Victoria. Fitting for national celebrations and remembrances, Wreford's text speaks of a nation's humility before God and reliance on His providence and blessing. This new tune and arrangement for unison voices and organ is reminiscent of O God, Our Help in Ages Past (being in the same 8.6.8.6 meter), with triplet fanfares that echo the American national hymn, God of Our Fathers. Lord, while for all mankind we prayOf every clime and coast,O hear us for our native land,The land we love the most.O guard our shores from every foe; With peace our borders bless; With prosperous times our cities crown,Our fields with plenteousness.Unite us in the sacred loveOf knowledge, truth, and thee; And let our hills and valleys shoutThe songs of liberty.Lord of the nations, thus to theeOur country we commend;Be thou her refuge and her trust,Her everlasting friend.©Copyright 2022 Todd Marchand / Con Spirito Music (ASCAP).
