When used in its hymn form as in this arrangement, this tune is usually associated with the lyrics by Henry van Dyke under the title Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee. This song is fun for both parts and a valuable addition to the repertoire for beginning string players. This song is frequently used as a first recital piece or in a church setting.
