A lovely little South American jazz tune arranged here for Flute or C instrument and Guitar.  Duration: 3.32.  The recording presents the guitar as an electric guitar but it can be played on an acoustic (best if it's a cut-a-way).  Setting is exposition, variation, and modified re-exposition (A-B-A1 form).

The melody takes the form of A B A1.  The guitar part is composed in a style reminiscent of a folk singer’s finger style picking offset by a bridge section similar to renaissance period block chords.  Although the tempo never changes, the difference in styles gives the piece a feeling of tempo change – fast and light; slow, stately, and expansive.  The chords are simple.  There is an opportunity for the guitar player to work with five finger right hand technique if he/she so chooses. Duration is approximately 4.02.  Suggested fingerings for guitar included.
