Yuki Gassen mean Snow Battle in Japanese. This piece for classical guitar and flute was written a project to fill in silent sections of films. This one, comes from Kill Bill Volume 1. The fight toward the end in the snow matches to this interesting rhythmic motif. 
But, the work stands alone as well. With no context, there is no reason that this piece wouldn't be great for a recital of either instrument.
