Derek Hasted writes This is an accessible but rich and fulfilling arrangement of the charming Catalan Carol “El Noi de la Mare� - the Mother’s Son.

The Flute part is nicely straightforward and will suit an early intermediate player.

The guitar part is intermediate and requires the bottom string tuned down to D. I make use of the “sub-harmonic trick� to create the illusion of a deeper bass than a guitar can actually play.
