*INSTRUMENTATION: 2 VIOLINS & CELLO*
Clair de lune, originally written as the third movement of Claude Debussy's Suite Bergamesque for solo piano, became widely known and loved after its publication in 1905. Now often performed as a stand-alone piece, Clair de lune is instantly recognized by almost everyone, and frequently requested for gigs. Now you'll be prepared for any event with this beautiful arrangement for your two-violin and cello string trio! Maintaining the lyrical melodic lines, dynamic and emotional intensity, clever chord changes, and interesting metric modulations of the original, this chart will be perfect for wedding ceremonies, receptions, cocktail parties, solo & ensemble contest, and more. Rated advanced for some accidentals, a number of tied rhythms and tuplets, and some high notes in the violin 1 part -- this is a tricky piece, but I promise I made it as sightreadable as humanly possible!
