LET'S HAVE FUN WITH CLEMENTI! Muzio Clementi's Sonatina in C Major was a popular assignment for piano students in the last century. Here it is arranged for an INTERMEDIATE STRING TRIO (two violins and cello) in an arrangement for string players that is a lot of fun to play as they trade the melodies and runs back and forth among themselves. A separate sheet for each instrument is included along with the score. Italian born composer, Clementi, who spent much of his later life in England is know for his work for piano. This rondo comes from his Sonatina Op. 36 and is typical of the classical style. This arrangement for string trio (2 violins and cello) is ideal for the beginer/intermediate ensemble and a good introduction to the classical style.
