Piano,Violin - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.596563 Composed by Juan María Solare. 20th Century,Concert,Jazz,World. 18 pages. Juan Maria Solare #4624367. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596563). Juan María Solare: Dimensión Dimensión is a neolassical tango that was composed based on two simple piano pieces destined to young pianists: the first theme is Langostango and the second one Continuando. When joining to build up Dimensión, additional elements came into the game, such as an important secondary melody and a few transitions. Dimensión is therefore a clear example of a successful composition: a couple of good ideas and a lot of work to achieve that nobody notices how much work lies behind it. About the title, it obeys to my (slightly excessive) concern towards finding names that can be understood in any language of the places I usually am related to (i.e. in Spanish, English and German). In the case of dimensión it is a transparent word, understanding as such the words that are practically identical in any language while keeping their meaning (there exist words that are quite similar in different languages, but mean different things, in Linguistics these are called false friends.) Among my titles one finds several of such transparent words. In September 2002 I startd conducting the Orquesta No Típica at the University of Bremen, Germany, a chamber group of variable instrumentation devoted to tango music. Dimensión was the first piece that I composed especially for this group, in January / February 2003. The original version of Dimensión is therefore for Sextet: flute, clarinet, violin, guitar, bass, piano.Since that first version (performed several times in Germany and Argentina) I wrote a long dozen of arrangements for different instrumental groups.

Piano,Violin - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.596614 By Steve Tyrell. By John Frederick Coots. Arranged by Juan María Solare. Contemporary. 6 pages. Juan Maria Solare #6204917. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596614). Santa Claus is Coming to Town Sometimes spelled as Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town, this Christmas song was written by J. Fred Coots (music) and Haven Gillespie (lyrics). While this song needs no particular presentation, this purely instrumental arrangement does. It was tested by the arranger (pianist & composer Juan María Solare) with his team of soloists, corrected, ammended and written down in such a way that it works musically at an optimum degree. Difficulty level: Early Intermediate. Piano,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.596564 Composed by Juan María Solare. 20th Century,Contemporary,Sacred,Wedding. 7 pages. Juan Maria Solare #4625039. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596564). Nómade is the second movement of Sonatango: a classical sonata in form and tango-ish in character. This is possibly my most performed composition, since: - it is accessible to the audiences - it is technically relatively easy to perform and doesn't require many rehearsals - there are more than 30 versions / arrangements from solo piano over duos and chamber music ensembles to full orchestra. - it can be performed in different occasions ranging from recital to funeral (actually, I performed the organ version of Nomade at my mother's burial). - is a good example of crossover between classical music and popular music. It might be even considered neo-barroque music!     Nómade, as the whole Sonatango, is dedicated to my sister María Mercedes.   Listen a live recording here, performed by the Duo Tangente with the composer at the piano and Gert Gondosch -member o the Bremer Philharmoniker- playing violin:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQEB2brJvh8 You will find another recordings of Nómade on Spotify (or similar streaming platforms):   Saxophone and piano: https://open.spotify.com/track/5wfgXhFDjNZtxZejgMCB6w Cello and piano: https://open.spotify.com/track/1Qe6kE9YNQOJUJIJTRVFsP
