The present edition contains the work senza pressione, tre momenti musicali per violoncello e pianoforte, composed for the cellist Simon Schachtner in August and September 2020. The title indirectly refers to the work pression for violoncello solo by Helmuth Lachenmann, premiered in Como in 1970, and in a certain sense represents the Killmayer counter-variant of Lachenmann's highly artificial, avant-garde revolutionary aesthetic of the 1970s, and is primarily committed to the lightness of bowing.
