Composed by Nicholas Kershaw. Arranged by Ellen Harle. Contemporary. Score and parts. 26 pages. Fireworks Music #6049411. Published by Fireworks Music (A0.767829).
This arrangement of Nik Kershaw's 1984 hit Wouldn't It Be Good is arranged here in the recorded key of D minor alternating in and out of B minor. The first violin part has a little section of natural and artificial harmonics which is more advanced than the other parts, and the unison solo section is played by all upper strings together. This arrangement works as a string quartet (2 violins, viola/violin 3, cello) and as a quintet with the addition of double bass or bass guitar. Parts are bowed. Purchase includes score and all parts, including Violin 3 (Viola in treble clef).
