Playing time: approx. 3 minutes.I'd love to hear from you! Feel free to send feedback, ideas, and requests to phroglis@tutanota.com.

Daniels (A0.503599). “Golden Morning†is a striking piece for String Orchestra that evokes images of the slow emergence of the sun from its night-time slumber and all of the bustle of nature in response. It expands and contracts with harsh and harmonious chords and ends with the sound of the sun bursting forth. It works well as a piece for string orchestra or string quintet.IF YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR ENSEMBLE TO GAIN MORE MEDIA EXPOSURE, please record your performance of this piece and email it to CustomMusic@Salt-Cellar-Creations.com. String Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1209097 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 – 1827). Arranged by James M. Guthrie, ASCAP. 19th Century,Classical,Contest,Festival,Instructional,Traditional. Score and Parts. 19 pages. Jmsgu3 #807198. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.1209097). 5. Allegro ma non troppo.Beethoven's Bagatelles Op. 33 are pretty typical of his early style, retaining many compositional features of the early Classical period.  The first bagatelle is arguably one of Beethoven's most well-known pieces. While they may seem light-hearted and not to be taken too seriously, they are still well-crafted works that embody the younger Beethoven's style. The Bagatelles Op. 33 were composed by Beethoven in 1801-02 and published in 1803. Bagatelles are shorter and less complex than sonatas, often consisting of a single movement. They were intended to be played as light entertainment or as encores at the end of a concert.Bagatelle No. 5 of Beethoven's Op. 33 is a short piece that showcases the composer's mastery of melody and harmony. The piece is in the key of C major and is written in a simple ternary form, with a lively and playful opening theme that is followed by a contrasting middle section in the homotonic key of C minor. The opening theme is characterized by its use of syncopation, which give it a lively and energetic feel. The middle section, on the other hand, is more introspective and lyrical, with a more subdued and melancholic mood. The piece ends with a return to the opening theme, which is now played in a surprising and forceful manner. Overall, Bagatelle No. 5 is a charming and delightful piece that showcases Beethoven's skill in creating memorable melodies and harmonies within a concise and compact form.

String Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.503482 Composed by Music by Charles Winfred Douglas. Arranged by John R. Daniels. Classical,Sacred,Traditional. Score and parts. 15 pages. John R. Daniels #115593. Published by John R. Daniels (A0.503482). A delightful arrangement of the music to John Bunyan's hymn He Who Would Valiant Be from Pilgrim's Progress. More than a straight transcription, it has alternate voicing and key wanderings. It's an easy enough piece for most string orchestras, but it has enough challenges to keep it interesting.IF YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR ENSEMBLE TO GAIN MORE MEDIA EXPOSURE, please record your performance of this piece and email it to CustomMusic@Salt-Cellar-Creations.com. String Orchestra - Digital Download SKU: AX.00-PC-0001762_VC1 Cello. Composed by Gustav Holst. Arranged by Deborah Baker Monday. Classical. Part. 3 pages. Alfred Music - Digital Sheet Music #00-PC-0001762_VC1. Published by Alfred Music - Digital Sheet Music (AX.00-PC-0001762_VC1). UPC: 038081343112.This lively march comes to us from one of Holst's most popular works, the First Suite in E-flat for Military Band written in 1909. Two contrasting themes---a crisp, marcato in D and a lyrical, legato theme in G---thrill listeners. The powerful finale of the march, back in D, uses both melodies layered on top of one another. The lyrical section features the cellos and violas and all parts are interesting. This title is available in SmartMusic.Concert/Contest.
