It is a reaction to wanting to go back to the Silent Night, the Shepherds Watching the Sheep by Night, etc. The spirit is quiet reverence for Jesus. This is arranged for solo voice (or womens' choir), flute obligato, strings (string orchestra or string quartet), and harp or piano. In other words, this is intended to minister to the quiet nobility of the true spirit of Christmas, with love and blessings.
