This is a very beautiful piece which has been composed as a violin piece but now has been arranged for young
string orchestra.  As is the case with all of the young orchestra series that I have written, I have included
both the third violin and piano accompaniment.  The students will find that the piano accompaniment is great for rehearsal but they will prefer to perform without it at concerts.

The Mischievous Mop was originally written for violin and piano and was found in The Scampering Scarecrow Violin Book.  It is a lively piece for not only the solo violin,cello, or viola but also for a young string orchestra.  The rhythms are very catchy and the students will enjoy rehearsing and performing this piece.  The arrangement comes with Third Violin
and Piano accompaniment.  A great choice.

This arrangement is very suitable for the young orchestra.  Third violin parts  and piano score.are included in the arrangement. Mr. Williams begins with an original Christmas song and then merges it with Silent Night.  Have a listen.

The Little Bud Car originally ran from Victoria to Courtenay on Vancouver Island.  This piece is a nostalgic rememberance in music.  The musicians  play their music as if they are crossing over various different patterns of track.
    As is the case with all of these pieces from The Scampering Scarecrow teachers will find that a third violin has been added for those students who are not quite ready to handle second violin.  There is also a piano accompaniment which can be used for rehearsal purposes.  A fun piece to play.

A Great Big Boo in 3 is one piece from the violin book A Scampering Scarecrow.These pieces were originally written
for solo violin but now have been re-arranged for string orchestra.  The score is written for both Third Violin and pianol.
The third violin is helpful for those students who are new to stringed instruments.  I have found in the past that a student 
will start on the third violin part but transfers to second violin as a result of the experience with third violin.
     This is an entertaining piece for all members of the orchestra.
