By Oasis. By Noel Gallagher. Arranged by Austin Ralphson. Rock. Score and part. 10 pages. Austin Ralphson #5001407. Published by Austin Ralphson (A0.563786).

This song was composed by Noel Gallagher for Oasis in 1995 for their second studio album (What's the Story) Morning Glory? According to Gallagher, Wonderwall describes an imaginary friend who's gonna come and save you from yourself; the song remains one of the most popular that the band has released, and is often performed in an acoustic arrangement by Gallagher. I have changed the groove to a cool jazz one in this arrangement so chill out and enjoy!

Time: approximately 6:00

And Can It Be That I Should Gain? is a Christian hymn written by Charles Wesley. And Can It Be was written in 1738 to celebrate Wesley's conversion, which he regarded as having taken place on May 21 of that year.

This beautiful hymn has been popular and enduring.

And Can It Be That I Should Gain is perhaps one of the most joyfully poignant hymns penned by Charles Wesley (1707-1788). On Whitsunday (Pentecost), May 21, 1738, three days before his brother John experienced his heart strangely warmed,’ Charles was convalescing in the home of John Bray, a poor mechanic, when he heard a voice saying, In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, arise, and believe, and thou shalt be healed of all thy infirmities. The voice was most likely Mr. Bray’s sister who felt commanded to say these words in a dream.

Anglican hymn writer Timothy Dudley-Smith, notes that the following then happened:

Charles got out of bed and opening his Bible read from the Psalms: He have put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God, followed by the first verse of Isaiah 40, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. He wrote in his journal, I have found myself at peace with God, and rejoiced in the hope of love Christ (Dudley-Smith, 1987, 1).

The statement from Mr. Bray’s sister sparked within Charles a conviction like he had never felt before. Moved and convicted in spirit, Charles wrestled with these words until he came to rest in his faith, knowing that it is by faith we are saved (Ephesians 2:8).

Soon after this conversion experience, he wrote two hymns in celebration of the amazing love he had come to know: And Can It Be that I Should Gain and Where Shall My Wondering Soul Begin? (United Methodist Hymnal, 342)

There has been some debate as to which hymn was written first, but most current scholarship accepts the latter as the first hymn written by Charles after his conversion experience. No matter its place in the chronology of Wesley's output, And Can It Be has been and remains one of his most remarkable hymns, expressing like no other the rapturous joy of receiving salvation.

Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by Ander. Classical,Folk,March,Opera,Romantic Period. Score and part. 3 pages. Woods Only, Arrangements #835061. Published by Woods Only, Arrangements (A0.1239670).

This arrangement adapted for violoncello and piano was written keeping the characteristics of the original work, in order to be performed by young music students who want to enter the symphonic music. Besides, it can also be used by professional musicians for recitals, repertoire, academic presentations and didactic material. The transcription remains faithful to the structure, with only one change in tone, so that it is comfortable for all the instruments in the formation, as well as being used as an activity in ensemble practice among musicians of different traditions.

Beethoven's Turkish March (Op. 113) is the 4th movement of the operatic work: The Ruins of Athens, a set of incidental pieces written in 1812 by Ludwig van Beethoven, where the melody was originally written in 1809 as Theme with Six Variations for Piano, Op. 76. The work was written to accompany the play of the same name by August von Kotzebue, for the dedication of a new theater in Pest. Perhaps the best known part of the composition is the Marcia alla turca, In Latin America, this movement became known in Jean-Jacques Perrey's version (who titled it The Elephant never Forgets) since it was used as the opening theme of the successful Mexican TV comedy El Chavo del Ocho. The opening and the turkish march are often performed separately, and the other pieces in this set are not often heard.

From Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Composed by Felix Bartholdy Mendelssohn. Arranged by Wolfgang Birtel. This edition: Sheet music. Edition Schott - Single Edition. Downloadable. Op. 61/9. Schott Music - Digital #Q11847. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q11847).

A wedding without a famous wedding march – unimaginable! Wagner's 'Bridal Chorus' from 'Lohengrin' and Mendelssohn's 'Wedding March' from the incidental music of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' vie for the favour of bridal couples and wedding parties. If, however, the music shall be festive, Mendelssohn's background music for the wedding ceremony remains first choice. In order that the march cannot only be performed with the organ but also with a melodic instrument with piano (or organ) accompaniment, the present editions provide easy-to-play arrangements.

SKU: A0.1285540

Composed by Francois Clement Theodore Dubois. Arranged by Lisa Ochoco. 19th Century,Romantic Period. 15 pages. Lisa L Ochoco #876645. Published by Lisa L Ochoco (A0.1285540).

Théodore Dubois was a French composer and organist who was well-known in the Paris music scene, due to his position as a professor of harmony at the Paris Conservatoire.  Most of his works were religious ones.  He had hoped for a successful opera career, but that unfortunately did not happen.

Agnus Dei was originally a vocal duet with piano, which translates well as an instrumental duet.  I extended the piece to include some key changes to add interest.  Otherwise, the piece remains mostly as the composer wrote it.

This arrangement is suitable for musicians with intermediate music skills.

Scored for 2 cellos and piano.

Duration: 4.25 minutes.

Composed by Rodion Shchedrin. This edition: Sheet music. Cello Library. Downloadable. Duration 9 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q6732. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q6732).

Deep Slavic emotions and gripping virtuosity - that's what characterizes many compositions by Rodion Shchedrin. Even if he has been a cosmopolitan for a long time, the Moscow-born composer nevertheless remains an originally Russian composer whose attachment to Russian music folklore and poetry has never been broken off. This tradition also shows in 'Belcanto', which was commissioned by the renowned Verbier Festival and premiered by the dedicatee Mischa Maisky, together with the composer on the piano. The cello part mainly maintains a cantabile character, while the piano accompanies and comments the vocal part with varied transparent sounds and figures.
