She played principle cello and had several solo features in the program. I was so impressed with her performance that I hired her to participate in several recordings of my music. She played cello in my string quartet, Sodium, my Octet in D, and my song cycle Alice. She is now a senior at NEC, and I decided that as a parting gift I would write a cello duet for her.
