Cello,Piano - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1504393 Composed by Marie Jaëll. Arranged by Clara Obsidian. 19th Century,20th Century,Romantic Period. Score and part. 43 pages. Clara Obsidian #1079833. Published by Clara Obsidian (A0.1504393). Marie Jaëll (1846 – 1925) was a French pianist, composer, and pedagogue. She composed pieces for piano, concertos, quartets, and was known for her scientific studies on the hand techniques of the Piano. Her cello concerto in F major, dedicated to Jules Delsart, is a rather unknown gem to the cello community. While arrangements of her manuscript for Cello and Orchestra have been performed, her personal arrangment of the concerto for Cello and Piano is not as well-known. Following the manuscript from the Bibliothèque nationale et universitaire of Strasbourg (BNU), this edition features a similar 1st and 3rd movement, with a novel 2nd movement in a similar style as compared to her orchestra version. Certain measures where her intentions are uncertain, such as scribble out notes or unclear notations have been marked out.I ModeratoII LentoIII Vivace molto, CadenzaFull Score and Parts---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
