Early Intermediate level arrangement of 2021 Maroon 5 hit transposed to C (original key Bb).  Syncopation simplified for easier reading; once notes are learned, encourage player to fix the rhythms by ear to match the artist's recording. 

LH has ostinato that reaches a 6th, so thumb covers two notes.  RH is a constant movement of 8th notes primarily in Am, C and Dm positions; melody often leaps down a 6th accomplished by opening up the thumb joint to reach the interval.  Arrangement has no outro to match the abrupt end of the artist's recording.

A popular tune by Maroon 5, ‘Memories’ is highly-requested by young and teen pianists. The repetitive melodic and rhythmic patterns just grew into our ears. This arrangement in the key of C major is suitable for beginner to intermediate pianist. The left hand accompaniment is kept in simple chordal style to ease the hands coordination.

For piano teachers and students. This piece can be used as popular music supplement to classical piano lessons. It can be used to reinforce the understanding of sixteenth note (semiquaver) through several common rhythmic patterns (eg. patterns in bar 6 and 23). The right hand melody itself may be used for a fun rhythmic clapping exercise. Enthusiastic young beginners may be taught through a mix of rote and note learning.

This is an easy-to-early intermediate abridged piano arrangement. After the 4-bar intro consisting of a single rhythmic bass note, the left hand part features the same rhythm but in triadic form over the popular Canon in D progression consisting of I-V-VImi-IIImi-IV-I-IV-V. The melody is rhythmically close to the original Maroon 5 performance but played in the key of D major. Suggested fingering is given for both the treble and bass clef notes.
