Originally recorded by actress Angela Lansbury in her film role as Madame Samovar, the single, produced by Walter Afanasieff, was featured as the last track on the film's soundtrack album, from which it was released on November 16, 2019. 1991. Additionally, Dion included the song on her eponymous 17th studio album. The pop ballad, Beauty and the Beast, describes the relationship between the film's main characters.
