Shine like a star is a pleasant and uplifting piano composition that is easy to play. Based upon broken chords in the right hand and sweeping left hand chords
which has sweeping  broken chords as well the reach from the tonic notes fifth and tenth . Some solid chords appear in the right hand and are played with a forte dynamic bright attack.
This is a song that is at an intermediate level

The Haunting is a gorgeous unusual piece of music.The composition has tasteful use of tonal colors and textures with special use of the damper pedal to capture the effects of a haunting nature.

The composer and performer Bryon Tosoff incorporates at times a John Cage technique by occasionally playing inside the piano at times by plucking strings and using a sweeping glissando ending on the strings in a ghostly manner of a spirit leaving in a rush.

It is a song that has a Rubato Nature to it and requires a light tender touch to capture the composers intent. Requires  a tasteful use of the damper pedal and the pianist needs to be aware to maintain continuity in the upper registers to capture that airy light haunting essense.

The use of the piano bass strings is effectively incorporated throughout especially when the playing the piano inside and on the keys.

The piece is considered to be medium easy and at a level of Grade 4-5 RCM.

Driftin' is in the Key of D flat Major

Driftin' is an easy listening composition and us an easy to intermediate level song. The left hand is doing most of the work here  and the player should keep the flowing quality constant. The player will notice that the right hand will bedoing up some detached octaves on occasion with a touch of damper pedal. As one moves further into the song there will be the right hand working in some fifths intertwined with a simple flowing melody afterwards. Imagine yourself just driftin, on a cloud, in the sky, on a spaceship in the universe going nowhere in particular, or perhaps somewhere on the serene waters in a boat on a lazy warm summer day with not a care in the world.
