It's a simple ditty in Common Time (hence the title) and the LH is mainly 'comping'. In the final statement of the tune, it is in 3rds in the RH to give the music a little more texture. The tempo in the video does not have to be strictly adhered to so that the player can get used to independent hands by playing it more slowly and building up speed over time.

I have written these 24 compositions with the aim of providing complete works (rather than excerpts) for harmonic analysis that utilize chords that follow a sequence commonly found in theory textbooks. Book I begins with Minuet in F Major, introducing the I and V triads in root position and contains nothing else but these chords. The next composition, Waltz in E major, continues with root-position I and V triads and introduces the root-position IV triad. In this successive fashion, each new composition introduces a new chord, carefully avoiding any chords reserved for future study while cumulatively building upon an ever-increasing chordal vocabulary. All twelve compositions in Book I are devoted to diatonic triads and begin exploring non-chord tones but do not have any seventh chords or secondary functional chords.
