This Wish piano sheet music for beginners
This is a beginner-friendly version of the song This Wish, from the motion picture Wish by Disney, that kids and piano beginners will love.
As a piano teacher, I arranged and edited this song with real piano students in mind. So you can rest assured that the learning experience of this song will be well balanced for beginners, from a pedagogical perspective.
Features of this sheet music:
- * Arranged for beginner piano solo, by an experienced piano teacher.Â
- * Consistency in harmony. To enhance memorization, all chords and arpeggios are presented the same way along the song.
- * Left-hand-friendly voicing. All harmony progressions are as comfortable as possible for the left hand. No big jumps, no weird positions.

- * Simplified melody with minimal use of syncopation.
- Pattern repetition to boost memorization (and self-confidence).
- * Strategic fingerings that suggest the most comfortable positions for the right hand.
- * Big notations to facilitate reading.
- * Thematically illustrated to inspire children and adults.
- * Carefully edited for an aesthetically pleasing reading experience.
What piano concepts can be learned/reviewed with this sheet music?

What are the piano challenges of this sheet music?
The most difficult part of this piece might be memorizing the right hand, due to the changes in position and rhythm.
Fingerings have been written in this sheet music to avoid unnecessary position changes. For that reason, the widest extension of the suggested fingering is a fourth interval using fingers 1 and 2 with the right hand. However, fingerings can always be changed to suit the performers' needs.
Â
Note:
Please note that this is not a plain transcription of the original song, but an original, beginner-friendly version of it. Because of this, the lyrics may not fit perfectly to this score.
