Peaceful Feeling is a piece I've composed for my beginning adult piano student, Herbert Ford.
As a beginning piano student, we're working onÂ
-Identifying note names on the keyboard
-Hand Positions and Finger Numbers
This piece introduces an expansion of the RH Position.
Another big concept we're addressing is the absolute imperative to prepare hands alone first.
That leads us to the real work of piano:Â putting hands together.
This piece is also good for introducing THE PEDAL!
As you can see, this piece lays a foundation for eventually playing Prelude in C by JS Bach.
