Composed by James Lord Pierpont. Arranged by Shelley Marwood. Christmas,Holiday,Traditional. Score. 2 pages. Shelley Marwood #1092441. Published by Shelley Marwood (A0.1518342).

For the student not yet reading notes on the staff, this arrangement is perfect! The well-known favourite holiday song Jingle Bells is set here in an easy-to-find position, using strong fingers of both hands. The lyrics are included so they can sing along as much as they like.

I have been teaching piano for decades, and I am also a professional composer. After several years of teaching I realized that students at different levels often wanted to play the same songs. But one size does not fit all when it comes to “Easy Piano,” and I did not have five versions of Jingle Bells at my fingertips!

So I began arranging songs for in-studio use. Sometimes I ended up with 3 or 4 different levels of a particular song. My preferred method book is Faber’s Piano Adventures, so I used that as a guide for creating my arrangements. Every title I publish has a suggested level that roughly corresponds to books in this series.

Students soon learned that they could request any song they wanted, from a holiday carol, to Mozart, to current pop or rock hits. I have now arranged many songs at more than one level of simplicity, and I am always adding more.

Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by Dr. Yuway Chan-Basel. Classical,Early Music,Film/TV,Historic,Instructional. Score. 3 pages. Yuway Chan-Basel #957919. Published by Yuway Chan-Basel (A0.1373548).

Piano sheet music: Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, Op. 67, commonly known as the Fate Symphony, had its premiere in 1808. The composition quickly gained immense acclaim and became recognized as a fundamental pillar of Western music.

The music opens with a distinctive four-note motif, often described as short-short-short-long, symbolizing the concept of fate knocking at the door. This motif has made its way into various genres, including disco, rock and roll, as well as film and television.

The key of C minor holds special significance for Beethoven, representing a stormy, heroic tonality. This characteristic quality is maintained in the presented arrangement.

This piano arrangement of the Fate Symphony retains essential elements of the original composition, such as 8th rests/notes, dynamic structure, and a wide range of pitch. Specifically crafted for piano learners at the Piano Adventure/Faber Level 2b or 3a, it strikes a well-balanced blend of challenge and accessibility.

By The Beatles. By John Lennon, John Winston Lennon, Paul James Mccartney, and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Academia Unimusica. Rock. Score. 2 pages. Unimusic Academy (Academia Unimusica) #6247353. Published by Unimusic Academy (Academia Unimusica) (A0.809399).

Hey Jude is a song by the English rock band the Beatles that was released as a non-album single in August 1968. It was written by Paul McCartney and credited to the Lennon–McCartney partnership. The single was the Beatles' first release on their Apple record label and one of the First Four singles by Apple's roster of artists, marking the label's public launch. Hey Jude was a number-one hit in many countries around the world and became the year's top-selling single in the UK, the US, Australia and Canada. Its nine-week run at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 tied the all-time record in 1968 for the longest run at the top of the US charts. It has sold approximately eight million copies and is frequently included on music critics' lists of the greatest songs of all time.

The writing and recording of Hey Jude coincided with a period of upheaval in the Beatles. The ballad evolved from Hey Jules, a song McCartney wrote to comfort John Lennon's son, Julian, after Lennon had left his wife for the Japanese artist Yoko Ono. The lyrics espouse a positive outlook on a sad situation, while also encouraging Jude to pursue his opportunities to find love. After the fourth verse, the song shifts to a coda featuring a Na-na-na na refrain that lasts for over four minutes.

Hey Jude was the first Beatles song to be recorded on eight-track recording equipment. The sessions took place at Trident Studios in central London, midway through the recording of the group's self-titled double album (also known as the White Album), and led to an argument between McCartney and George Harrison over the song's guitar part. Ringo Starr later left the band only to return shortly before they filmed the promotional clip for the single. The clip was directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg and first aired on David Frost's UK television show. Contrasting with the problems afflicting the band, this performance captured the song's theme of optimism and togetherness by featuring the studio audience joining the Beatles as they sang the coda.

At over seven minutes in length, Hey Jude was the longest single to top the British charts up to that time.[1] Its arrangement and extended coda encouraged many imitative works through to the early 1970s. In 2013, Billboard magazine named it the 10th biggest song of all time in terms of chart success.[2] McCartney has continued to perform Hey Jude in concert since Lennon's death in 1980, leading audiences in singing the coda. Julian Lennon and McCartney have each bid successfully at auction for items of memorabilia related to the song's creation.

Maya was in the studio with Riperton on the day it was recorded and Riperton can be heard singing her daughter's name at the end, but only in the unedited or album version. The song is a love song that features Riperton's signature high-pitched vocals. The song has been covered by many artists and has been used in various films and TV shows  Lovin' You is considered one of Riperton's most popular and enduring songs.
