Late elementary pianists just got a new, fun, and easy Do You Hear What I Hear. It’s a classic that remains popular with kids, and I arranged it for one of my students. We made it less cluttered than those with lyrics, simple enough to be able to have the melody switch between the hands, and included a simplified echo effect with half the moving. This next part is copy and pasted from my blog: My inspiration for The pianist's Wind Chimes came mainly from Philip Glass. The Philip Glass Etudes are kind of short, but I've been listening to them recently. They are somewhat profound even though they are brief and not that advanced. Of course a piece does not have to be long or hard to be profound. The Minimalist style is a great way for beginner and intermediate piano students to sound excellent at piano recitals. I usually don't think about the title of a piece first. The title came to me as I was working on it. Funnily enough, the title might be the worst part of this piece. I only used the name The Pianist's Wind Chimes because I thought it was a cool name (ha ha ha!). In the middle of The Pianist's Wind Chimes, there is a reference to Beethoven's Fur Elise. The famous first two measures of Fur Elise were part of my inspiration. The notes are sort of different. I didn't want to copy Fur Elise completely. But I did want to make the reference obvious enough. I do wander how many people will recognize the reference. I hope most of them will. The Pianist's Wind Chimes is a great original composition for piano students after their first year. It's in 5/8 time, which is not too common for students of this caliber to encounter. Except for a few measures in the middle of the piece, the meter never changes.
This piece is also three pages long. That makes it somewhat longer than a typical beginner composition. Since it's a full three pages, The Pianist's Wind Chimes is great to perform at a student recital. You can listen to the YouTube video to find out how long it is. The video is a little over two minutes and thirty seconds long. 
I only decided on the name The Pianist's Wind Chimes because I thought it would be a cool name (ha ha!). .

This hymn recounts many of the metaphorical invitations that Christ made to come to the Father through Him, as recorded in the gospel of John, where Jesus introduces each passage by saying “I AM…�, echoing God’s self-revealed name, YHWH, from Exodus 3:13-15 (note that YHWH is often transcribed into English using all capital letters “LORD� or alternatively in some versions as “Jehovah�). The chorus places each of Jesus’ “I AM� statements in the context of the LORD’s voice from heaven at the mount of transfiguration, as recorded in Matthew 17, which declares the Father’s love for his Son and commands us to listen to Him. Many attempt to deal with Christ as merely a great teacher, but do we listen to what this great teacher has taught? In full obedience to the command to listen to Christ, we should consider what he has said about himself, including at His betrayal in the garden where he says “I AM He... I told you... I AM He!� The composer has arranged this version of hymn for elementary piano with an alternate teacher’s duet. Full lyrics are available as a benefit to the entire family. Each piece includes different Classical forms such as Waltz, Scherzo, and Fugue while enticing students with their favorite desserts.

The sheet music is clearly and carefully notated with dynamic marks, phrases, suggested fingerings, metronome markings, and appropriate musical terms for playing.

These selections make wonderful recital pieces and are fun for students as they learn different piano techniques.
