This popular baroque work has been arranged as a trumpet duet with a relatively simple piano accompaniment. The piano takes the bulk of the arpeggio material, thus allowing brass players with less technical expertise to access this work than would normally be the case. The trumpet parts are about grade 5 standard (ABRSM) with the piano part being slightly lower. The arrangement would also work equally well for any similar pair of Bb brass instruments, e.g. two flugelhorns, euphoniums or baritones.
