You may know it better as Elvis Presley’s Love Me Tender, although that’s in copyright.
It’s a perfect beginner’s piece for Bb Clarinet and it’s all below the break.
The piano part is a homage to Bach’s famous Prelude in C Major, from The Well Tempered Clavier.
About 50% of the Prelude features in this accompaniment to a beginner’s version of Aura Lee, and it turns it from a straightforward and perhaps uninspiring study into a concert item the audience will love!
