B-Flat Clarinet,Piano - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1303406 Composed by Gabriel Faure. Arranged by Harry Walker. 19th Century,Contest,Festival,Romantic Period. Score and part. 8 pages. SCORE EDITIONS #892980. Published by SCORE EDITIONS (A0.1303406). This mélodie is the first in a set of three songs, opus 7, which also comprises Hymne and Barcarolle respectively. All three were composed between 1870 and 1877, then collected and published in 1878 under the title Trois Mélodies. Not originally conceived as a song cycle, these three songs acquired this opus number much later, in the 1890s. The poem for Après un rêve was loosely adapted from an anonymous Italian text by Romain Bussine. It describes, in the form of a dream, the imaginary flight of two lovers who are head over heels in love, although the last verse brings the dreamer inexorably back to harsh reality as dawn is breaking. In this version, the composition was arranged for Clarinet in B-flat and Piano by Harry Walker.

Instrumental Duet Clarinet,Instrumental Duet,Piano - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.808943 Composed by Danilo Lorenzini. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and parts. 18 pages. Preludio s.r.l. #6136783. Published by Preludio s.r.l. (A0.808943). Elegia for clarinet and piano by italian composer Danilo Lorenzini (SCORE and PART).I had the opportunity to listen to Lorenzini’s Elegia during a clarinet recital with the composer himself performing at the piano. It is a great piece. The beautiful clarinet melodies are supported by extremely sensitive piano harmonies, creating a deeply nostalgic effect. This nostalgic feeling is mixed to a great tension, developed by the dynamic and harmonic climactic context.I am very glad to have been introduced by a student of mine to this great piece and also to take it into my own repertoire.I am sure this piece is very useful for clarinet students in learning to play with an expressive style. As a personal choice, I will play M° Lorenzini’s Elegia as an encore piece after a long recital.François Benda

Score and part. 19 pages. Jmsgu3 #1053807. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.1476293). Composed in 1890, Rêverie is one of Debussy's earlier works, showcasing his evolving style and paving the way for his later, more mature compositions. The title Rêverie refers to a dreamlike state, and the piece is known for its calm, peaceful, and atmospheric qualities, making it a perfect entry point into Debussy's style. Rêverie is often considered a symbol of the Impressionism musical movement, featuring subtle, dreamy emotions that capture the essence of this artistic style. The vibrant and dreamy nature of Rêverie has made it a popular choice for various multimedia, including films, commercials, and piano recitals, solidifying its iconic status as a piece of the piano repertoire. The music of Rêverie overwhelms and transports the listener to a dreamlike state, creating a personal and romantic experience open to individual interpretation. Debussy's ability to create a dreamlike atmosphere through the music, with a gently repetitive theme that evolves into richer textures, showcases his mastery in crafting captivating musical landscapes.
