Everybody Loves Somebody was made famous by Dean Martin who recorded and released his famous version in 1964. It was originally written in 1946 and recorded by Frank Sinatra with no success! Dean told his son who loved the Beatles, I'm gonna' knock your pallies off the charts, and on August 15, 1964 he did just that: Everybody Loves Somebody knocked The Beatles' A Hard Day's Night off the #1 slot on Billboard.

It was written for the score of their 1947 musical Brigadoon. There were three hit versions of the song in the United States in 1947: Frank Sinatra's version was the highest charting at no. 20. Mildred Bailey and Mary Martin both charted with the song at no. 21 that year. Nat King Cole recorded more than one version of the song, including a later version that was used as the closing song in the 1993 movie Groundhog Day which starred Bill Murray.

Instrumental Duet,Piano C Instrument - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.880968 By The Beatles. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Marco Polo C. Ignacio. Rock. Lead Sheet / Fake Book. 2 pages. MARCO POLO IGNACIO #6362255. Published by MARCO POLO IGNACIO (A0.880968). In My Life is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1965 album Rubber Soul. It was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, who later disagreed over the extent of their respective contributions to the song. Lennon credited the harmony and bridge to McCartney, while McCartney claimed the entire musical structure. George Martin contributed the piano solo bridge, which was sped up to sound like a harpsichord.According to Lennon, In My Life was his first real major piece of work because it was the first time he penned personal lyrics about his own life. The original version of the lyrics was based on a bus route he used to take in Liverpool, naming various sites seen along the way, including Penny Lane and Strawberry Field. Lennon discarded this lyrical idea in favour of a more generalized meditation on his past. He and McCartney later revisited those original references with their respective songs Strawberry Fields Forever and Penny Lane.
