The German born Ferling is probably best remembered for his 48 Etudes for Oboe. These pieces are still regularly studied and performed by both oboists and saxophonists. These lovely duets, make lovely study materiel but are also suitable for concert use. In this transcription the original key has been changed to make it more suitable for flute.
