Flute,Piano - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.763454 Composed by Traditional Welsh. Arranged by Nigel Williams. Celtic,Concert,Instructional,Standards. Score and part. 8 pages. Nigel Williams #5747595. Published by Nigel Williams (A0.763454). Featured in the 1980's Steven Spielberg film Empire of the Sun, this beautiful traditional Welsh lullaby melody became very well known. In this arrangement the flute mainly leads, but when the melody moves to the piano the flute has an attractive counter-melody. Ideal High School student repertoire and with a performance duration of around two and a half minutes, a great recital piece. The full score has phrasing suggested and a one page flute part attached. Enjoy browsing my many instrumental solo, duets, trios, quartets and ensemble pieces (including Suo Gan for string orchestra) on SMP.
