Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.576117). Setting for alto and guitar of Verlaine's poem Ariette Oubliée No 4 in which he imagines himself and his lover as two innocent little girls. The guitar part is a troubled ostinato undercurrent while the voice sings soothingly over it. Some of the musical material was also used in my cello and guitar piece Virgo and Taurus (also available on ths site) The sound sample is the composer's own performance.
