Clarinet Duet Clarinet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.972636 Composed by James Siddons. 20th Century,Contemporary,Patriotic. 2 scores. 3 pages. James Siddons Music and Writings #3024719. Published by James Siddons Music and Writings (A0.972636). The clarinet duo J.P Morgan Finances the Panic of 1907 was originally composed in December, 1967, when the composer was 19 years old, and was inspired by Walter Lord's description of the Panic of 1907 in his book The Good Years (1960). The duo was revised in June, 1969.***The two performers may stand next to each other and read from the same music stand, but the musical effects will be enhanced if the performers stand apart, to create a stereophonic effect. This is especially effective in passages where the texture changes from heterophony to unison and back (e.g., mm. 10-12). The distance they stand apart will vary with the width of the performance area (stage) and the size of the auditorium.

Clarinet Duet Clarinet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.587355 Composed by Franz Schubert. Arranged by David McKeown. Praise & Worship,Romantic Period,Sacred,Wedding. 2 scores. 5 pages. David McKeown #3210661. Published by David McKeown (A0.587355). Ave Maria was written by Franz Schubert in 1825 as the sixth song in his song cycle based on Walter Scott’s poem The Lady of the Lake. It is perhaps the best known of all his melodies, adapted for piano by Franz Liszt, and for orchestra many times since. It is often sung with the Latin lyrics of the Catholic hymn of the same name and has been heard everywhere from the Disney movie Fantasia to the funeral of J.F. Kennedy. This version is arranged as a duet for two Clarinets. Musicians at an intermediate level and above will find this ideal for formal and informal performances. Both parts play the melody. The overall performance time is around four and a half minutes. The sample recording is from the Clarinet and Alto Saxophone version of this duet. The full length youtube performance is of the Clarinet version. Teachers will enjoy using this arrangement as a fun way to help with phrasing and expressive playing. The rhythms are straightforward though there are extended triplet quaver arpeggios which will pose a challenge for finger coordination and breathing.
