Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) by the Beatles, was released on the 1965 album, Rubber Soul. Primarily written by John Lennon, the song refers obliquely to an affair that never quite off the ground. Help! by the Beatles, was the title track of the 1965 album of the same name. It was also the name of the Beatlesâ?? film released in the same year. Help! was primarily written by John Lennon. In later interviews he admitted that Help! was a subconscious response to the pressures of fame and that commercial pressures had forced the band to record it as an up-tempo pop song rather than a reflective ballad.
