Trumpet Duet Trumpet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.588156 By The Beatles. By John Lennon, John Winston Lennon, Paul James Mccartney, and Paul McCartney. Arranged by David McKeown. Rock. Score. 5 pages. David McKeown #5306131. Published by David McKeown (A0.588156). When I’m Sixty-Four first appeared on the Beatles’ 1967 album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Despite the song’s appearance relatively late in the Beatles’ discography, it was one of the first songs that Paul McCartney wrote, at the age of 16. When the song was finally recorded in 1966, Paul McCartney felt it was too slow and turgid. George Martin simply solved the problem by speeding up the tape and raising the pitch by one semitone. This version of When I’m Sixty-Four is arranged as a duet for two Trumpets. The full YouTube performance above is the Clarinet version of this duet.Musicians at an intermediate level will find this ideal for formal and informal concert performance. The overall performance time is around two and a half minutes. Teachers will enjoy using this arrangement as a fun way to help with ensemble skills and expressive playing.  There are many more top quality arrangements and compositions by David McKeown for you to browse at http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/publishers/david-mckeown/6203

Trumpet Duet Trumpet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1040839 By Brian Buda. By John Calkin. Arranged by Brian Buda. Christmas,Contest,Festival,Holiday,Sacred,Traditional. Score. 12 pages. Budaful music #645608. Published by budaful music (A0.1040839). This arrangement of the classic carol 'I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day' (WALTHAM) is a great addition to a holiday themed school program, church service, and Christmas contests and recitals. As with any song, the lyrics are very important, even when performed instrumentally as in this case. The emotions of the poem are imitated in the music. Encourage listeners to follow along by printing/displaying Henry W. Longfellow's well loved text: I heard the bells on Christmas day Their old familiar carols play, And wild and sweet the words repeat Of peace on earth, good will to men. This arrangement functions very well for both a moderately advanced solo trumpet and trumpet duet. The duet part is more intermediate, making it a great option for an intermediate level student, or a less experienced player. While the duet part has been written for its corresponding solo instrument, the duet part can be purchased for other instruments as well. Separate duet parts available for: Flute, Oboe, Soprano sax, Clarinet in Bb, Alto Sax, Horn in F, Trumpet in Bb, Trombone, Baritone (T.C.), Violin, Viola, and Cello. Trumpet Duet Trumpet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1085894 Composed by Scottish Traditional. Arranged by Liza Zumbrunnen. Celtic,Classical,Folk,Irish,Multicultural,Traditional,World. Score. 4 pages. Liza Zumbrunnen #690069. Published by Liza Zumbrunnen (A0.1085894). The Gypsy Laddie, aka The Raggle Taggle Gypsy (Roud 1, Child 200), is a traditional folk song that originated as a Scottish border ballad. It is about a rich lady who runs off to join the gypsy laddie. When the player gets to the cantabile solo, they should really milk it. The words here sing, I winna come wi you, my honey an' my hert, I winna come wi you, my dearie O, Till I drink the breest that I hae brown, An' that's in the Water o Eerie O. This trumpet duet can be played by any like instruments.
