Instrumental Duet Clarinet,Flute,Instrumental Duet - Digital Download SKU: A0.981221 Composed by Judith Cloud. Contemporary. Score and parts. 1 pages. Judith Cloud #6690315. Published by Judith Cloud (A0.981221). Six Forays for Flute and Clarinet1. Questioning with hesitation2. Slowly and freely with rubato3. Snappy and perky!4. Tenderly, with much sensitivity5. Nagging relentlessly6. Aggressively insistentThe genesis of this diminutive composition, and its subsequent title Six Forays for Flute and Clarinet had its inception at a dinner party held by flutist, Emily McKay. Jeremy and Emily were planning a collaboration including a CD recording featuring flute and clarinet music, and wanted me to compose a piece for them. I decided against a formal plan, and began in a sense, to unravel sound organization from the inside out. Imagining myself an audience participant, I wanted to hear clarity through brevity. I definitely did not want to impose gimmickry, but did choose to play with slight pitch bending-something to arouse the listener, but not to bore her with 20th century musical clichés. The result is a six-movement piece, around six minutes long. Organizing the music through titles allows for imagination for both the listener and the performers.Beauty of tone, magnificent musicianship, and virtuosity-these qualities in instrumentalists inspire all who create music. I am very grateful to Emily McKay and Jeremy Reynolds for commissioning me to write this music for them.

Clarinet,Flute,Instrumental Duet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1150426 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by Ander. Classical,Folk,March,Opera,Romantic Period. 6 pages. Woods Only, Arrangements #750603. Published by Woods Only, Arrangements (A0.1150426). This arrangement adapted for flute and clarinet duet was written keeping the characteristics of the original work, in order to be performed by young music students who want to enter the symphonic music. Besides, it can also be used by professional musicians for recitals, repertoire, academic presentations and didactic material. The transcription remains faithful to the structure, with only one change in tone, so that it is comfortable for all the instruments in the formation, as well as being used as an activity in ensemble practice among musicians of different traditions. Beethoven's Turkish March (Op. 113) is the 4th movement of the operatic work: The Ruins of Athens, a set of incidental pieces written in 1812 by Ludwig van Beethoven, where the melody was originally written in 1809 as Theme with Six Variations for Piano, Op. 76. The work was written to accompany the play of the same name by August von Kotzebue, for the dedication of a new theater in Pest. Perhaps the best known part of the composition is the Marcia alla turca, In Latin America, this movement became known in Jean-Jacques Perrey's version (who titled it The Elephant never Forgets) since it was used as the opening theme of the successful Mexican TV comedy El Chavo del Ocho. The opening and the turkish march are often performed separately, and the other pieces in this set are not often heard.

Film/TV,Pop,Rock. Score and parts. 5 pages. David McKeown #3070615. Published by David McKeown (A0.587146). Stand by Me was originally released by the co-writer Ben E King in 1960 and is the sixth highest royalty earning song of all time.  However, King never intended to record the song himself. When King sat at the piano and performed Stand by Me, the producer recognised a huge hit in the making. This version is arranged as a duet for one Flute and one Clarinet. Musicians at an intermediate level and above will find this ideal for formal and informal performances. The overall performance time is around three minutes. Teachers will enjoy using this arrangement as a fun way to help with ensemble skills and expressive playing. Arranged by David McKeown. Rock. Score and parts. 5 pages. David McKeown #5306089. Published by David McKeown (A0.588136). When I’m Sixty-Four first appeared on the Beatles’ 1967 album, Sgt. This version of When I’m Sixty-Four is arranged as a duet for one Flute and one Clarinet.
