Instrumental Duet Clarinet,Flute,Instrumental Duet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.845076 Composed by Phil Beaman. 20th Century,Folk,Instructional,Jazz,Multicultural,World. Score and parts. 7 pages. Phil Beaman #6134569. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.845076). Pure fun! I took the stereotypical Russian folk dance theme, and then I jam on it! There are nine 8-bar sections in this theme and variations. I categorize it as Contemporary Classical because it fuses Classical, Baroque, Romantic, chromaticism, and lots of early jazz, all with a strong and vigorous Russian folk dance beat. Practicing your technique has never been so much fun; from mordents to syncopation with lots of varying articulation including staccato, slur, accents, and tenutos.

David McKeown #6080533. Published by David McKeown (A0.589572). Bublitschki is a Ukrainian/Jewish Folk song, often performed by Klezmer musicians. This version is arranged as a duet for one Flute and one Clarinet.Bublitschki was written in 1922 by Yakov Jadow. The title means pretzels in Russian and was inspired by the pretzel sellers by the railway station in Odessa. Jadow observed that the street-vendors were poverty-stricken and wrote the song as a lament. Initially popular in the Soviet Union, a recording by the Barry Sisters in 1939 brought this song to an international audience.Bublitschki is simply arranged in a key and range best suited to the instruments. The melody is in two sections and is played twice with a short coda and constant variations in the accompaniment. Bublitschki is suitable for players at an intermediate level and above. With a performance time of just over three minutes, this version of Bublitschki is perfect for concert performances, both formal and informal. Clarinet,Flute,Instrumental Duet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1152445 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by Ander. Classical,Instructional,March,Opera,Romantic Period. 7 pages. Woods Only, Arrangements #752671. Published by Woods Only, Arrangements (A0.1152445). This arrangement adapted for flute and clarinet duet was written keeping the characteristics of the original work, that is, inspiring and significant to the already known choral symphony by Beethoven, indicated to be performed by young music students, who want to enter the symphonic music, moreover, it can also be used by professional musicians, for recitals, repertoire, academic presentations and didactic material. As much as it is a funeral march, it is well suited for any musical performance occasion. The transcription is faithful to the structure, with only one change in key, so that it is comfortable for all instruments in the formation, thus maintaining the essence of the striking melody, as well as using it for ensemble practice among musicians of different traditions. Beethoven's Ninth Symphony Op. 125 incorporates part of the poem An die Freude (To Joy), a hymn written by Friedrich Schiller, with the text sung by soloists and a choir in its last movement. It was the first example of a major composer using the human voice as prominently as the instruments in a symphony, thus creating a far-reaching work that set the tone for the symphonic form that was to be adopted by Romantic composers. This is the last complete symphony composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. The choral symphony, better known as the Ninth Symphony or The Ninth, is one of the best known works in the Western repertoire, considered both an icon and predecessor of Romantic music, and one of Beethoven's great masterpieces, where it was first performed on May 7, 1824, the same year it was completed, at the Kärntnertortheater in Vienna, Austria. The conductor was Michael Umlauf, the theater's music director, and Beethoven - dissuaded from conducting by the advanced stage of his deafness - was given a special place on the stage next to the conductor. It was later rearranged by Herbert von Karajan to become the anthem of the European Union in 1972, the national anthem of Rhodesia from 1974 until 1979, Rise, O Voices of Rhodesia, used the tune Ode to Joy..

Instrumental Duet Clarinet,Flute,Instrumental Duet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.755014 Composed by Sy Brandon. 20th Century,Contemporary,Jazz. Score and parts. 29 pages. Sy Brandon #3242843. Published by Sy Brandon (A0.755014). Hep Cats was originally composed during 2008 for solo clarinet and was adapted for flute and clarinet in 2011 for the Ardente Duo. The title is a double entendre, first suggesting the jazz influences, and second, being a musical portrait of felines. The first movement is called Siamese and was written in memory of the composer’s cat, Siegfried, who was part Siamese. It is an upbeat, swing movement. Angora is the title of the second movement and is moody, bluesy, and mysterious. The last movement, Tom is in a rock style and is aggressive. It was recorded by the Ardente Duo on the Emeritus label Hep Cats CD.
