This arrangement references both the piano and violin parts performed by Lindsey Stirling and John Legend in their rendition of, All of Me.  I really like her accompaniment parts - the staccato double stops, for instance - and I use the piano's right hand harmonies in both the violin and viola parts.  The viola carries the melody most often in this piece, imitating the male tenor voice, but the violin occasionally takes over with a soaring melody that floats over the top of the pianistic viola chords and counter melody.

But more recently many have questioned whether the composer was in fact Jeremiah Clarke, organist at St Paul’s Cathedral. What is known is that the piece was written for a semi-opera called The Island Princess, and that both men contributed music to the production. In recent years this piece has become a popular wedding favourite. This full version is arranged as a duet for Violin and Viola and the performance time is around two and a half minutes. Of course, performers, especially at weddings, may wish to abridge and shorten the arrangement. This is easily done as the different sections are self-contained and the repeat may be ignored.
