The melody is traded evenly between instruments with the opposite part sustaining arpeggiated eighth notes to create full harmonies. The viola has some moderately challenging measures in treble clef among it's melody bars. Parts are bowed with measure numbers and rehearsal letters for ease of sight-reading.
