Instrumental Duet,Lever Harp - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.803886 Composed by John Francis Wade. Arranged by Serena O’Meara. Christmas,Holiday,Renaissance,Sacred,Traditional. 12 pages. O'Meara Music #5325977. Published by O'Meara Music (A0.803886). There is confusion as to who is the exact composer of this melody. Perhaps it was an anonymous Cistercian Monk, or King John IV of Portugal (1604-1656), or John Reading (1645-1692) or John Francis Wade (1711-1786). The first published version of it was in 1751 by John Francis Wade, a Scottish scholar of plainchant so he is often given credit as its composer. This arrangement has three verses of increasing difficulty; each using harmonics in the quiet sections. The dynamics are clearly marked. The melody is divided evenly between parts. The easier Trio version can be played along with this duet version to give 5 parts. You will receive the Score, Harp I, and Harp II.

Instrumental Duet,Lever Harp - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.803901 Composed by Henry John Gauntlett, and Traditional French Carol. Arranged by Serena O’Meara. Christmas,Holiday,Multicultural,Sacred,Traditional,World. 7 pages. O'Meara Music #5361605. Published by O'Meara Music (A0.803901). In 1849 English organist Henry John Gauntlett set the poem written by CecilFrancis Alexander to a melody he had named Irby which is now known as Once In Royal David’s City. The French carol, Il est né or He is Born was first published in 1862 although it is considered to be an ancient carol. The two carols are very similar in structure and phrasing. This is playable on both Lever and Pedal Harps. Both parts include knocking on the soundboard. Sections of the songs (A, B) and dynamics are clearly marked.

Instrumental Duet Celtic Harp,Instrumental Duet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.808009 Composed by Turlough O’Carolan. Arranged by Serena O’Meara. Baroque,Celtic,Folk,Holiday,Irish,Wedding. Score and parts. 15 pages. O'Meara Music #4626563. Published by O'Meara Music (A0.808009). This beautiful slow air was composed in honor of Lady Mary Nugget (1694-1725). She was the daughter of Thomas, the Fourth Earl of Westmeath. When she married Francis Bermingham, the Twenty-first Baron of Athenry – she became Lady Athenry. Donal Sullivan lists Lady Athenry as a patron of Turlough O’Carolan. I imagine Lady Athenry as a dainty, energetic, colorful and interesting woman. Her household was a place Turlough enjoyed visiting.
