Although he composed in many genres, he was particularly successful in his smaller forms, such as this Spring Song which is taken from a collection of four small pieces for either violin or cello composed in 1912.  In this arrangement, the original piano part is replaced by a cellist and the resulting duo is an attractive piece suitable for chamber music recitals or busking!
