This much loved piano piece by Chopin is also remembered in a version as the classic song I'm Always Chasing Rainbows recorded by Judy Garland in 1917. This string duet arrangement for violin and cello adheres to Chopin's melodic line. The cello provides a gentle rocking eighth-note accompaniment to the violin melody, and the final extended cadence has just a hint of 'Blues'. The performance duration is two and a half minutes and the full score has two individual parts attached.
